30 rescued after London Duck Tours vehicle catches fire on the Thames

30 people had to be rescued yesterday when the London Duck Tours craft they were travelling in caught fire just after midday. Some dived into the river fearing the vessel was about to explode. They were rescued by the emergency services and crew members from other boats. Three people, including a pregnant woman, were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation, while others were treated by paramedics for the effects of cold and shock.
