KOV meeting tonight (Tue 19 Jan 10)

Update: Here's what happened.

There's a meeting of the Kennington, Oval and Vauxhall Forum tonight (Tue 19 Jan 10) at 7.30pm (doors open 7.00pm) at Montgomery Hall, 58 Kennington Oval. SE11 5SW (part of St Mark's Kennington).

I've only just found out about it and am otherwise engaged. If you go, do feel free to report back.

This is a public meeting and everyone living or working in Kennington, Oval or Vauxhall will be very welcome. Refreshments will be available at the start of the meeting.

The meeting will have presentations and opportunities for you to have your say on:
  • Vauxhall, Nine Elms, Battersea Opportunity Area Planning Framework - What it could mean for Vauxhall, what you think of it?
  • Plans to enhance St Anselm's Church
  • Crime issues and actions in the KOV area - the Police will be in attendance
  • The latest news from Lambeth Council on the Beaufoy Institute and Lilian Baylis (former school) site
  • News from local community groups
