A new theatre for Stockwell

Don't know how this escaped my attention but The Stage reports today that the former South Bank University building is now a 181-seat theatre with two rehearsal rooms, dressing rooms, a backstage area and a bar.

It is the new home of the Lost Theatre Company (patrons: Sir Derek Jacobi and Ralph Fiennes) which helps young actors to showcase their talents. Each year Lost presents nine plays directed by respected industry professional open to anyone 27 years or under. So if you're young enough, why not audition for Tweflth Night, Daisy Pulls It Off or The Skin Of Our Teeth.

Meanwhile the new venue’s first test will be the Universal Citizens production of Panphobia, which opens on 26 January and runs until 14 February.
