Bonfire & fireworks at the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens' "Fire Festival"

Bonfire, fireworks, food, drink and more from 7pm Friday 1st November 2013 on Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens:

The Vauxhall Trust is putting on a bonfire night as part of the Vauxhall Pleasure Garden’s Festival of Fire in to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night the way Mr Fawkes intended. Though they won’t be attempting to blow up parliament there will be lots of food, lots of colour and above all, lots of fire.

The event will take place on Friday 1st November and starts with a bonfire on Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens which will be lit at 7pm and burn throughout the night to keep you snug in your boots. From 7 – 8pm story tellers will perform the story of the original fire, along with gymnasts, artist and parkour dance, ending in a magnificent firework display. Lace up your boots, dig out the woolly hats and scarves and come along to enjoy some tasty food, a beautiful display of fireworks and soak up the atmosphere.
