Curzon Millbank opens 25 February

Hoorah! A cinema we can stroll to!

Millbank Tower, just across the river, will house a new Curzon Cinema. It opens in two weeks' time on Friday 25 February 2011.

According to the website:
Curzon Millbank houses a 280-seater, fully digital screen, plus a fully licensed cafĂ©-bar with free wifi. The cinema will deliver Curzon Cinemas’ high standards of sound, vision and programming featuring a wide range of independent and world cinema films as well as events such as cast and director Q&As and CineKids strands.

Altitude London will offer opportunities for joint experiences for consumers, for example combining brunch at Altitude 360 with cinema visits, and impressive hospitality venues for film premieres and corporate events.

  3. Great to see Curzon just over the bridge. We live on Kennington Rd which makes this our nearest cinema. They could do with spreading the word this side of the river. Will be walking up there a lot we thinks.

the main thing they should spread is the rows of seats, they are literally on top of each other making it impossible to sit down - it was terrible. Only topped by the lady at the front desk telling me: yes we know it is really uncomfortable. But still not doing much about it, let alone warning us when we bought the tickets, we were three tall people.
