Consultation on Lambeth's transport strategy

You have until 11 March 2011 to provide feedback on Lambeth's draft transport plan.

You'll probably need until then just to read it because it's 98 pages long.

I haven't but apparently it "sets out how we will look after and improve transport in the borough over the next 20 years. It also covers how we plan to deliver the Mayor of London’s Transport Strategy at a local level".

Feedback can be given via an online survey .

You can also discuss it at one of the related public exhibitions. There is one at Tate South Lambeth Library on 16 February 2011 from 2pm to 6 pm.

If that doesn't suit there are the alternatives:

Streatham Library: Tuesday 8 February 2011, 3 to 7pm, 63 Streatham High Road, SW16 1PL
West Norwood Library: Saturday 12 February 2011, 12 to 4pm, Norwood High Street, SE27 9JX
Waterloo Library: Tuesday 15 February 2011, 2 to 6pm, 114-118 Lower Marsh, SE1 7AE
Clapham Library: Thursday 17 February 2011, 3 to 7pm, 1 Northside, Clapham Common, SW4 0DQ
Brixton Library: Saturday 19 February 2011,12 to 4pm, Brixton Hill Parade (next to the Ritzy cinema), SW2 1JQ

  1. I live around the corner from you and I wrote a piece about the Lambeth transport plan here.

It's quite critical because I think the plan lacks any real bite. Unfortunately.
