Anyone for tennis down by the orchard?

Vauxhall ParkJust in from the Friends of Vauxhall Park:
We have applied for Ward Purse funding to plant a community orchard on the site of the current dog exercise area and move the the dog area to the area of grass adjacent to the South Lambeth Road.

We hope to have news on this and other projects, including the repair of the damaged gates on Fentiman Rd, in the near future.

We have been asked by the Kennington and Brockwell Parks Tennis League to spread the word that they are looking for adult players of all standards to take part in the league. Players are matched with others of a similar standard and they can then arrange to play on any local court (including those in Vauxhall Park).

For further details please see their website www.localtennisleagues.com/KBleague or email kbtennisleague@googlemail.com.
