Tomorrow night sees the first part of a TV adaptation of Jake Arnott's
He Kills Coppers. From memory, some of the action is set in
Bonnington Square.
The character Billy Porter is based on Harry Roberts, one of the perpetrators of the
Braybrook Street massacre 1n 1966.
Another local link is that the van used by the perpetrators was discovered the next day in a rented lock-up garage under a railway arch in Vauxhall.
He Kills Coppers is ITV on Sunday 23 March at 9pm.
