Postcard of New Vauxhall Bridge, 1907

Note the absence of the statues which were not added until late 1907

    I'd always assumed it was taken from the Pimlico side but now you've got me doubting myself...

    Assuming that those three vertical spikes that we can see beside the bridge on the far side are the same as these http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Vauxhall_Bridge_2.JPG
    then it is taken from the pimlico side....

    Ahhh... I think you are right... I think that the chimney on the top left is the Royal Doulton factory chimney... and yes the spikes do seem to line up with the modern picture. I go past those spikes daily, does anyone know what they are?
