Open House London - Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 September


The annual Open House London event takes place this weekend (17/18 Sept 2011).

More than 700 buildings will open their doors to the general public for free: architects homes, eco and retrofit buildings, tours of major regeneration projects, landscape projects, government buildings, historic landmarks etc etc.

General access with hourly tours, first tour 11am, last tour 2pm, first come basis. Gallery flat showing innovative construction methods, sustainable features and communities through boards and multi-media.

Sun 11am-3pm.
General access with half-hourly tours, first tour 11.30am, last tour 2.30pm, first come basis. Displays on history of building, the technological and policy innovations it represented and linkages with pre-occupations of social housing in 21C.
