Planning Application For Flats Above Costcutters

An application has been submitted for "Retention and enlargement of ground floor as shop premises (Use classes A1) with the conversion to provide 4 self contained units on the upper floors, involving part demolition to the rear end of the property together with the excavation of basement level and the erection of 3 storey rear extension. Alterations to existing boundary treatment and the installation of new side access door to the residential units on the upper floor levels and replacement fenestration, provision of refuse storage to the rear of the building and cycle storage at basement level."

There are several supporting documents with architectural drawings.  It doesn't look like a drastic change from the current size or use of the buildings, and one positive I note is a bin storage area for the retail unit (which would presumably take Costcutter's huge commercial bin off South Lambeth Road).
